Terms for using
ZeroOTP.

These Terms of Service govern your use of ZeroOTP and related services. ZeroOTP is operated by Mehmet Canhoroz. By using the app or related services, you agree to these terms.

License To Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use ZeroOTP for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, subject to these terms.

Intellectual Property

ZeroOTP, its name, logo, and design are the property of the operator. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights to our trademarks, trade names, or other intellectual property. Open-source components used in ZeroOTP are attributed on the Licenses page and governed by their respective licences.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use online services in your country, to use ZeroOTP. If you are under the required age, do not use the app.

Service Provided As-Is

ZeroOTP is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We aim to build a reliable authenticator, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or compatibility with every device, operating system, account provider, or future platform change.

Your Responsibility For 2FA Access

You are responsible for keeping backup access to your accounts. This may include recovery codes from the services you protect, exported backups, secondary authenticators, or account recovery methods provided by those services.

If you lose your device, passcode, export file, or recovery codes, you may lose access to accounts protected by those TOTP codes. ZeroOTP is not responsible for lost access to third-party accounts.

Backups And Data Availability

Although ZeroOTP may provide sync or storage features, you should not rely on ZeroOTP as your only backup. Internal errors, server errors, database failures, deployment issues, account deletion, service interruptions, or other incidents may cause data to become unavailable, corrupted, or lost. You are responsible for maintaining your own recovery codes and backups.

No software or service can be guaranteed 100% safe, secure, or permanently available. By using ZeroOTP, you understand that data may be lost or become inaccessible due to technical failures, software bugs, infrastructure problems, security incidents, or other events beyond our control.

Fees

ZeroOTP is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or plans in the future. We will provide reasonable advance notice before introducing any charges.

Acceptable Use

• Do not use ZeroOTP to violate laws, infringe rights, or compromise other systems.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse the backend service.
• Do not use the service to store or transmit content you do not have the right to use.

Suspension And Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to ZeroOTP if we reasonably believe an account or activity creates security risk, legal risk, abuse, service disruption, fraud, violation of these terms, or harm to other users or systems. You may stop using ZeroOTP at any time. You are responsible for exporting or preserving any data you need before deleting your account or uninstalling the app.

No Reverse Engineering Or Abuse

Except where permitted by law or applicable open-source licence terms, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, tamper with, bypass security controls, or misuse ZeroOTP or its backend services.

App Store And Platform Rules

If you download ZeroOTP through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another platform, your use is also subject to that platform's terms and policies.

Service Modifications

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue ZeroOTP or any part of it at any time. We will try to provide reasonable notice for significant changes that affect existing functionality.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZeroOTP and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of account access, data loss, business interruption, or security incidents caused by your device, third-party services, lost credentials, or misuse.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failures or delays in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, infrastructure outages, platform changes, or government actions.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ZeroOTP regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject.

Changes

We may update these terms when the app or service changes. The effective date above shows when this version applies. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
